today

so in art class today we made monoprints. pretty cool. i made a print of brian molko for my gesture drawing. sexiest man alive ... uh... besides you evan. pause. so i think i would like to try more of that print making. by my 4th one i was getting better. i'll upload a picture as soon as i get it back. not much happened today. at all. and after that i don't know what to say. sketching is slow as always. i don't produce work quickly. the "a picture a day keeps the demons away" project will help train me to be faster. at least that is the plan. i was talking to my friend the other day and as he was looking through my art book he asked me if i ever did anything that looked shitty. and i realized that no, i never just sketch quick ideas out. it all has to be perfect. and that is stupid. perhaps i will force myself to do something awful that i hate every one in a while. it will be good for me. i hope
